About us
“MWCF is dedicated to rehabilitating endangered wildlife, restoring ecosystems, and fostering community-based conservation in Botswana’s Boteti region.”
About Magodi Wildlife & Conservation Foundation
Magodi Wildlife & Conservation Foundation was founded by Mr. Marvel Tlhobogano Serome, a lifelong conservation advocate from the Boteti region, with a deep personal commitment to protecting Botswana’s natural heritage.
The Foundation was established in response to increasing threats to wildlife, including habitat loss, climate stress, human-wildlife conflict, and declining environmental awareness among rural communities. MWCF was created to serve as a practical, locally grounded conservation model that combines traditional knowledge, modern science, and inclusive development.
Our Mission
To conserve and restore endangered wildlife and fragile ecosystems in Botswana through rehabilitation, education, research, and community-based conservation initiatives that promote coexistence between people and nature.

A resilient Botswana where wildlife thrives alongside empowered local communities, safeguarded by sustainable conservation practices for generations to come.
